Week 5

Hi all
Last week the children thoroughly enjoyed Shop Day and the Triathlon.  If you have any photos worth posting, please forward them to me.

Congratulations to Kat and Lily for winning the Kiwikidsnews weekly quiz.

This week will be another busy one.  Along with regular lessons, we will be doing several PATs (progressive achievement tests) during the week - Tuesday and Wednesday.  If you have any queries about these tests, feel free to contact me.

We also have the annual school swimming sports on Friday (time to be advised) which always draws a big crowd and the forecast is looking perfect!

Week 5
This week in the classroom:

Language:  We will be continuing with homophones. Now we have identified so many, we will be defining chosen words and using them in context.

Maths: We will be focusing on turning subtraction problems into addition problems to make them easier to solve.
